That’s difficult to summarize, but we’ll try: Our purpose is to spread Celtic heritage, music, and spirit back to the Olean area, and to advance Irish-American community through the Ancient Order of Hibernians’ motto of “Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity”, while being active members in the Olean community via festivals, sponsorships, donations, and activities. In short we want to enrich our community with one of the most “fun” cultures in the world! We would like to add some events-within-the-event like a calling of the Scottish clans and parade, highland games, irish/Celtic lore and even some classes on ancient Ireland, on top of the many bands, food vendors, and sales vendors that we have lined up for the weekend.
